HADITH #7517 vs. HADITH #3887 (Part 2)
This article is a follow-up of the article HADITH #7517 vs. HADITH #3887 , to give more explanation on the inconsistencies or contradiction found in two hadiths.
The hadiths are supposed to be inspired speeches or pronouncements of Muhammad which were heard by his companions and passed on to other people and following generations.
Since these stories of their Prophet is supposed to be inspired, there should be no contradictions. So the challenge of Qur’an in submitting contradictions should, by extension, apply to the hadiths.
Warsh Qur’an Version, Surah 4:82 reads, “Don’t they think about the [meaning] of the Qur’an was not from Allah, they would have found a lot of contradictions in it.”
Hafs Qur’an Version, Surah 4:82 reads, “Do they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein many a contradiction.”
Please note that two Versions of the Qur’an are sources of the quotation that gives the challenge to submit contradictions. Presence of two Quran versions negates the Muslim claim that there is only ONE Quran perfectly preserved since the time of their prophet.
Islam teaches that there are seven (7) levels of Heaven. Mention of these seven levels is related to the story of Muhammad’s purported night journey passing through the sixth levels. However, the two hadiths quoted do not have the same facts. So the conclusion is that their prophet fell into another story-telling mood where consistency of facts was not important. Let us note the inconsistencies:
1st Heaven -
Hadith 3887 and Hadith 7517 narrators are consistent in reporting that Muhammad met Adam in the lowest level of heaven.
2nd Heaven -
Hadith 3887 says Yahya (John the Baptist) and Isa (Jesus) met Muhammad. On the other hand, Hadith 7517 reports that Idris was the one who met Muhammad in the Second Level of Heaven. There is contradiction!
3rd Heaven -
Hadith 3887 says Muhammad met Joseph in the third level of Heaven. Hadith 7517 does not reveal who met Muhammad in the third level of heaven.
4th Heaven -
Hadith 3887 says Idris met Muhammad on the 4th Level of Heaven while Hadith 7517 it was Harun (Aaron) who met Muhammad. Inconsistent!
5th Heaven -
Hadith 3887 says it was Harun (Aaron) who met Muhammad in the 5th Level of Heaven. Hadith 7517 gives no name. Forgetful?
6th Heaven -
Hadith 3887 says Moses greeted Muhammad in the 6th Level of Heaven CONTRA the information given by Hadith 7517 which says it was Abraham who greeted Muhammad. Inconsistent!
7th Heaven -
Hadith 3887 declares that Abraham greeted Muhammad in the 7th Level of Heaven. On the other hand, Hadith 7517 says it was Moses who greeted Muhammad. Inconsistent again!
CONCLUSION: Allah and Muhammad are inconsistent!
LEGENDS AND MYTHS?
Was Muhammad in the mood of telling the fairy tales to entertain and his companions took them for real life situations? Muhammad seemed to have enjoyed telling myths and legends because he was familiar with Khurafa of Yemen. Do you remember the information in a previous article that the distance between two levels of heaven is 500 years? And the distance of the earth to the first level of heaven is 500 years? Yet the journey of Muhammad took only several hours!!! That would be 500 years times 8 is 4,000 years (500 X 8=4,000 years). Do you know how many nights was this journey done? Try to investigate and make your conclusion. Do you see the possibility of inconsistency in computation which adds to the possibility of this Journey as the fruit of imagination rather than a reality in life? See the hadith that cites Ais’sha, the child bride of Muhammad:
Hadith – “Ai'sha said:
"Allah’s Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace) told his wives a story one night, and one of them said: “It sounds like a fable of Khurafa!” He said: “Do you know what that means? Khurafa was a man from [the Yemenite tribe of] 'Udhra. The jinn captured him in the pagan era [al-jahiliyya], so he stayed with them for a long time, then they returned him to his people. He used to tell the people about the marvels that he saw among them, so the people said: ‘The fable of Khurafa.'”

CHALLENGE:
Warsh Qur’an Version, Surah 4:82 reads, “Don’t they think about the [meaning] of the Qur’an was not from Allah, they would have found a lot of contradictions in it.”
Hafs Qur’an Version, Surah 4:82 reads, “Do they not then consider the Qur’an carefully? Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein many a contradiction.”
We invite our Muslim kababayans, instead, to consider following the Lord Jesus Christ who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Can you imagine a god who is supposed to be all-knowing but He is inconsistent in simple information? - #
