The Uncomfortable Witness: Why the Quran Validates the Bible
Part I: The Gathering Storm and the Battle for Authority
We are living in a moment of profound spiritual shifting. Islam is no longer a distant theological concept; it is a present reality in our neighborhoods. From the aggressive conversion programs sweeping across Europe and the Americas to the proliferation of mosques in the northern regions of Luzon, the landscape is changing.
But the battleground is not merely physical or demographic—it is digital and doctrinal. Muslim apologists are increasingly active on social media, dismantling the faith of the unprepared with sharp, polemical attacks against Christianity.
As Christians, we cannot afford to be passive. We must prepare ourselves to combat this movement not with hatred, but with truth. To do so, we must understand that Islam undermines the very foundation of Christianity through six major doctrines:
The Corruption of Scripture: The claim that the Bible is no longer authoritative.
Tawhid: A rigid unitarianism that denies the Trinity.
The Finality of Muhammad: The belief that he supersedes Christ.
The Denial of the Atonement: The claim that Jesus was never crucified.
A Militant Eschatology: A returning "Jesus" who destroys crosses.
Uncertain Salvation: Entry to Paradise based on works and whim.
This post focuses on the first and most critical point: The Integrity of the Bible.
The standard Islamic accusation rests on Surah 4:82, which claims that contradictions prove a book is not from God. They assert that the Torah and the Gospel (Injeel) have been corrupted (Tahrif) and are therefore invalid.
However, the most effective defense is not just to show our manuscripts, but to turn the table. We must show that the Quran itself—and Muhammad himself—testify to the validity of the Bible. If we look closely, we find that Islam’s own holy book destroys their argument against ours.
To be continued…
